Fall gathering held in St. Marys

POWA member Kermit Henning photographs a herd of elk near Benezette.

The 2011 POWA fall gathering was held in St. Marys, Pa. in September. Attendees enjoyed up-close elk viewing, state game land tours and an afternoon at the new Elk Center in Benezette, a tour of Straub brewery and much more.

Spring conference review

The 2011 POWA Spring Conference was held in Bedford, Pa. during the second weekend in May. Special thanks goes out to all who attended and the supporting members who helped make the weekend a great success.

As usual, the weekend was highlighted by Saturday night's raffle, which supports POWA youth scholarships, and the Excellence in Craft Award announcements. Click HERE for a complete list of the 2010 winners.
